Iqbal Funeral Service is a privately owned family funeral and Memorial Service, headed by Rashid Nasir Iqbal.
 
Mr.Iqbal has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Central Lancashire. He is a fully qualified Funeral Director and is a member of the prestigious British Institute of Funeral Directors with a license to practice. He holds the Duke of Edinburgh's Bronze, Silver and Gold awards.He is a practitioner of Martial Arts with special interest in Tai-Chi for health.
 
Mr. Iqbal heads a team of professionals from a variety of fields, all of whom will try to meet your every funeral and memorial need. Mr. Iqbals' mission is to provide and satisfy all of the funeral needs of all the communities, religions and cultures that he serves. He is truly a Funeral Director for everyone. Iqbal Funeral and Memorial Services was established in 1989, as a result of the sad loss of Mr. Iqbals first child, Nooreahmed. Having arranged the funeral and burial of Nooreahmed, Mr. Iqbal felt a calling to the funeral profession. He concentrated his time and energy to give fruition to this urge by opening his first funeral parlour at 1a Shear Brow, Blackburn.
